The Netherlands cricket team is set to arrive in India on September 20 to begin their preparations for the World Cup. They will start their training in Alur on September 21 and will have warm-up matches against Australia and India before the tournament begins. The team will then head to Telangana after their match against India and will play their first group-stage match against Pakistan on October 6. This will be the Dutch side's fifth participation in the one-day World Cup.
